The year 2010 marks the entry of Terra-S into the market of Ghana by assuming operation of a 50 acre under-developed granite quarry in Shai Hills of the Greater Accra Region. Through a combination of capital investment, appropriate heavy machinery, qualified workforce, sound management and professional expertise Terra-S was able to turn the quarry into a steadily-operating revenue-generating site producing high quality aggregate and boulder products.

Throughout its presence in the Shai Hills area, Terra-S maintained excellent and respectful relations with the local tribes and population.

Terra-S is launching operations in the Western Region, specifically in the Enchi and Wassa areas.
The importance of the mining industry is further supported by the announcement of the Ghana Chamber of Mines that the mining industry accounts for about 7% of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and mineral exports make up 42% of total merchandise exports. Over the past decade, the mining sector has consistently been the highest gross foreign exchange earner.
